It is usually a less traumatic procedure.   <\/p><p><strong>Disadvantages of ThuLEP:<\/strong><\/p><p>It does not have as long-term clinical data as HoLEP because it is a newer method. In very large prostates, it may not provide as strong tissue removal as HoLEP. It may also not be available in every center yet.  <\/p><p>Both methods are safe and offer powerful alternatives to improve your quality of life.
